& Space is a container for possibility—a home for movement, collaboration, experimentation, and expansion. Founded by Britt Fishel & Artists, this space exists as an open invitation: a place where artists, thinkers, movers, and makers can gather, intersect, and grow.
A space for rehearsals and residencies, conversations and community—a living, breathing extension of the creative impulse.
Dance & film, body & screen, technology & touch; rooted in care and curiosity.
& Space is a site for research, dialogue, and making—on stage, on screen, and beyond.
& Space is 3700 sqft on a 3rd floor walk up, in Callowhill.

Within that, there is a large dance space in the middle, with Stagestep Dancestep Plus flooring. This flooring provides a shock absorbent, safe environment over sealed concrete.
There are two speakers in the space that can be connected through bluetooth.

Off the dance floor, there is a seating area to relax and chat, a small screening room with two floor chairs, a kitchen with a large table, six chairs, sink, refrigerator, countertops, a bathroom, and storage.
This space is really a love letter to the community,
and in the spirit of that-
our rental rate for rehearsals and classes will be at just $10/hr.
